Welcome to the Medica Research Institute

Founded in 2010, the Institute continues to demonstrate its mission to ‘protect health and improve lives,’ through the research activity it conducts.  Our team of investigators currently includes experts in health economics, epidemiology, behavioral psychology, and primary care medicine.  Research Excellence serves as one of our core values, the collegial culture that has formed creates an environment of learning through mentorship on many levels. 

Building on the principle that the best research outcomes can be achieved through collaboration, the Institute has engaged affiliate investigators primarily from the University of Minnesota.  Collaborative research is underway in the fields of Health Coaching, Value Indices for Insurance Design, Child Health/Acute Care, Neuroscience, Obesity Prevention and Treatments, Health Informatics & Adult Immunizations.
