21st Annual Minnesota Health Services Research Conference

The Minnesota Health Services Research Conference will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at the Continuing Education and Conference Center, St. Paul Campus, University of Minnesota. The purpose of the event is to bring together Minnesota's health services research community for a day of scholarly presentations and discussions.

Three Presentations | One Research Investigator, One Research Fellow

Research Investigator Angie Fertig, PhD, will present her own as well as Dr. Heather Dahlen’s research at the 2017 Minnesota Health Services Research Conference.

Dr. Fertig’s presentation is entitled, “A pilot study of the effect of a discount produce card and educational programming on health eating in low-income households.”

The study that Dr. Fertig will present on behalf of Dr. Dahlen is entitled, “The Impact of Nurse Practitioner Scope of Practice Legislation on Health and Access to Health Care.”

Additionally, former Medica Research Institute Research Fellow, Lucas Higuera, will be presenting his paper, "Narrow Provider Networks and Willingness to Pay for Continuity of Care and Network Breadth," one of three winning papers in the Student Paper Competition. Congratulations to Lucas for winning the Student Paper Competition at this year’s Minnesota Health Services Research Conference!
